review 1: This was really interesting, but it's definitely more focused on the business end than the creative end of Sesame Street. About half of the book covers the time before Sesame Street went on the air, and quite a bit is about Captain Kangaroo and other children's shows that preceded Sesame Street, which left the chapters about the many years of the show being on the air feeling a little rushed. Pretty interesting stuff anyway, though!
