review 1: I always had the opinion that cats are creatures that are constantly plotting to the demise of humankind and, to be honest, this book proves that I was right. Cats are cunning animals who are completely aware of what they're doing and their ultimate goal is no other than global domination. This book is fun to read, fast paced and scary at some moments. I don't have any animals nor plan to acquire any (allergic parents etc.), but I did hear several accounts of people who raise cats and... well, I can see that most of them will relate to what is written in this book. Highly recommended for cats' people!
review 2: If you are a cat lover, odds are good that you will love "The Cat Manual." The premise is that the author found a cat manual typed in Cat in a Bejeweled
... moresubfolder (read: computer gibberish) and was able to translate it. What follows is a hysterically deadpan series of entries about how cats should react to certain situations such as becoming dead weight ("... cats have developed the unique ability - and duty - to become much heavier than their actual weight"), the vacuum cleaner ("A torture device filled with screaming demons"), and computers (where CPU = Cat Punishment Unit). Exquisitely delightful humor that will ring true for many humans that are owned by their cats. Highly recommended! less

Erm this was a bit strange funny in places but not really what I thought it was going to be.
