What is it?
The 2008 American-Italian epic war film Miracle At St. Anna that was adapted by James McBride from his book Miracle At St. Anna and was directed by the director Spike Lee.
What is it about?
This is how Metacritic describes this movie:
Miracle at St. Anna chronicles the story of four black American soldiers who are members of the US Army as part of the all-black 92nd “Buffalo Soldier” Division stationed in Tuscany, Italy during World War II.
They experience the tragedy and triumph of the war as they find themselves trapped behind enemy lines and separated from their unit after one of them risks his life to save an Italian boy.

Final Thoughts
I saw this movie years ago at a movie theater with one or more of my brothers when it came out.
One or more scenes from the trailer that I saw for this film were not in the film itself.
I remember my brother GC and I liking the intro music and visuals, I remember it feeling how a movie show feel at movie theaters in our opinion(s), and so that was a nice way to start off the movie.
I remember thinking that John Leguizamo’s character and some of his scenes were out-of-place and unnecessary (or at least how he was playing the character, they probably should have picked someone else to play his character, and they should have changed some of his scenes).
This movie seems to have gotten somewhat poor reviews and it did poorly at the box office.
I only saw it once years ago but I do not remember hating it, I probably liked it more than critics did, and so I probably do not understand the overly negative reviews and very low box office but I would need to see this movie again to see how I feel about it now.
The end,
