review 1: With passion, intimacy, banter, humour and touching moments balanced with those that pull on the heartstrings, Love Lost and Found is a journey of rediscovery, self-acceptance and trust. Sexy, witty, determined and just downright lovely CEO Rick McCarthy is missing his Head of Finance and fiancée. Literally missing. As in nowhere to be found. Sassy, sweet and funny Felicity Williams was said CFO and fiancée, albeit for a short while before an accident put him in a coma for several weeks. He wakes, she's vanished and when his PI finds her living on a cruise ship, he discovers his lady hasn't a clue who he is or what they had. She's lost the last 5 years of her life, but he will move heaven and earth to make her heart remember what her head may not...This was a book wher... moree you grew to love the characters as the story progressed. With boatloads of chemistry, witty repartee, some nice steamy content and a beautiful setting, I swooned, laughed, sighed happy sighs over Rick's actions and at times wanted to shake some sense into Felicity! I was desperate for a happy reunion!A wonderful couple, a wonderful sweet sexy journey and will certainly read more from Michele de Winton in the future (apparently there is a book before this in the series which I am now off to purchase). Well worth reading.
review 2: I received the book from the author for an honest review. This is the second book I had the pleasure of reviewing and the author did not disappoint.A wonderful romantic story that would leave you weak in the knees and breathless. Rick McCarthy woke up from a coma after an accident in the mountains and discovered his fiance and partner was gone. At first he was clueless about her reason for running away, but when the patent they both had been working on attracted investors, he had to find her, quickly. Felicity Williams had amnesia and lost the last five years of her life. Working on a cruise ship she enjoyed her days even if her boss gave her and all the staff a hard time. When the two met Felicia had no idea whom the hotalicious man was, and with a cleverly well-laid plan they were stranded on a desert island.Soon the romance grew in intensity, and she gave into the stranger she did not know. Forgetting the pain of an old boyfriend and learning to trust again. She had changed from an ice-queen to a warm, loving and caring woman that says what she want in her own peculiar way.Rekindling his love for this woman, Rick had a hard time of convincing her of his true intentions. Coming to grips with her reasons he liked the new Felicity more that the old one. This had its own set of problems as they tried to survive the island and reacquainted with each other. Both characters were believable, and you got lost in the warm hot chocolate eyes of....I mean in the plot of the story. less
