review 1: Erica and Trent worked in a special unit together and from the first scene you could tell there was chemistry there with them. As they went on their case they ended up bonding with each other due to her special abilities. Trent was really laid back but when the hot and steamy happened, Eric was a surprise with how she let it all go. Enjoyed the read but I have to say Erica was starting to get on my last nerve with her back and forth trying to pretend she didn’t want him. I was so caught up in them the case was on the back burner I just wanted to read how the two interacted and enjoyed every second of it.
review 2: The book got started really good, I enjoyed the beginning and how the characters didn't know what each individual's talents were.. The sexual tensi... moreon between Trent and Erica was definitely shown at the beginning and even when they are placed together to find the mystery behind the deaths of the college girls. Trent is very protective of Erica, as he is a Shifter and already knows that Erica is his mate. Erica however;is unaware of this but she sure has desire for him. Erica shares her talent which is also harming her and Trent tries to help and stays extremely close. The two can not with stand their need for one another and the hot steamy sex scenes begin and their desire for one another is more than they can control ... The book flowed very well and there are twists and mystery, along with not really knowing who are your friends that are trust worthy? I just seamed to get a little bored at times and flipped thorough some of the book, it is pretty predictable and did not keep me interested all the way through. I don't believe it is a bad book, I just don't think it was a book for me. But, I would recommend the book if you like a mystery and shifters, ect... less
