review 1: Rating: 3.5 starsWhat a sexy experience! Tori and Smith are into the push and pull of games and their witty comebacks at one another had me laughing out loud many times. I wanted the mysterious history of Smith sooner than we were given it, but when it was given it flowed smoothly with the rest of the novel. I was pinning for Tori and Smith throughout the read and their games defensive mechanisms kept me on my toes. I questioned the sincerity of their actions and words. Mimi always takes me to another place with her words. I felt like I was in the cabin and in Montreal. I enjoyed this read, give it a try!
review 2: I wasn't sure what to think. I haven't read any of Mimi Strong before and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a strong story with you people... more who both had made mistakes but they met and sparks flew. It's your typical romance they met they fall into bed, they have a fight, break up and then end up back together. It wasn't complicated, it was a quick easy read that I enjoyed the characters. Tori is a strong capable woman that takes matters into her own hands and seduces Smith. It doesn't take much and then from that point they are up and down like a yoyo until she learns something and walks away. That's when you learn that about the things that made Smith who he was. less
