review 1: Ahead of the final two episodes this Christmas, I bought the script book that picks out some of Miranda Hart’s favourite episodes across the three series and discusses them, with notes and pictures and some behind the scenes information as well.Having seen the Miranda episodes far too many times to mention, the actual scripts weren’t that interesting to me to read, although I do love a good script book. It was the introductions by the author, the snippets about what it was like to record and the production notes littered throughout each script that made it fascinating.I wish there could have been more of that, or more episodes included, but that’s my only complaint. Otherwise it’s a fun book that is a nice addition to the collection of any Miranda... more fan.
review 2: As you may or may not know, I read Miranda Hart's autobiography 'Is It Just Me?' earlier in 2014 and I LOVED it! However, she released a book of the first drafts of some of her favourite scripts and some behind the scenes stuff of her sitcom 'Miranda'.As I said in my review of 'Is It Just Me?' I've always loved the sitcom 'Miranda' and reading some ideas that Miranda Hart had for the show but were never shown was interesting and I found the behind the scenes extras exceedingly funny. However, the reason this book didn't get five stars and 'Is It Just Me?' did was because I just didn't find this book as funny as Miranda's autobiography. However, I'd still recommend this to anyone looking for a funny read and anyone who is a fan of Miranda Hart. less
