review 1: Operation Paris is the second book in Misty Evans’ Super Agent Series. This is the story of Zara Morgan, a CIA operative and Lawson Vaughn, a member of a covert operations team. Zara is a former dancer that could have been a big name in the dancing world. Felled by an injury that ended her career, Zara believes that her talents are more suited to that of a secret agent. Her one problem: she doesn’t follow protocol. Will she ever follow a plan from beginning to end? Being a former Navy man, Lawson Vaughn is a rule follower. Vaughn is called in to watch over Zara as they once again go after Alexandrov Dimitri who is intent on selling weapons as well as releasing a deadly virus on his unsuspecting buyers. His one problem: he is a by the book kind of guy. Wi... morell he ever let go and step out of his comfort zone to “fly by the seat of his pants” to solve the case?I absolutely loved the interaction between Zara and Lawson. I laughed out loud when Vaughn kept asking Zara if she knew what covert operations meant. From her flashy dresses to her extravagant lifestyle Vaughn felt that she was way out of his league. Will he keep their relationship by the book or let himself get fully vested in her? You will have to read Operation Paris to find out.If you love a good read that has a little bit of suspense, betrayal, intrigue and romance, then you will not be disappointed in this book. I was drawn in from the prologue and couldn’t put it down until the very end. As a previously pointed out, this is book #2 in the Super Agent Series. This is definitely a standalone book, but you will like this so much that you will want to go back and read book #1.I would like to disclose that I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review that is my own.
review 2: If you love military romantic suspense, this is the perfect book for you. Zara Morgan and Lawson Vaughn are partners. They need to stop Alexandrov Dmitri, a terrorist . He's a dangerous adversary who is working with the insane biochemist Jon Vos Loo. What do these two plan? They need to exercise caution because danger and death surround them. Their desire grows as the work together, but both hide their fear of betrayal. Can they accomplish this mission? The characters are powerful and dedicated professionals who are determined to capture Dmitri. He wants to see them both dead. The action and the suspense are non-stop. The combination of danger and passion makes this book a intriguing suspense story. The secondary characters add so much to the drama. I like seeing familiar characters included. This is an intense story that I wasn't able to put down. Operation Paris is a wonderful addition to the Super Agent series. Misty Evans is a masterful storyteller. I never miss one of her stories. less
