review 1: My favorite was story was "Three Pointer," I think. Resonated with my experiences in middle and high school...through a difference lens. Also loved "Under Berlin." That father's attitude was so warm and magnetic. I laughed out loud a few times while reading this one. Looking forward to hearing what others thought about this compilation. Particularly educators planning to use it for discussions about race.

... moreass discussions. My only complaint about the book is that I wanted more! It was short but compelling (and probably as a result perfect for the intended teen audience), but I would love to see future editions with even more pieces! less
