review 1: I have the whole Reunion series now and while the stories are cute, with relatable characters, I *really* want the author to get hooked up with a copy editor! There are so many typographical and grammatical errors that they can be unintentionally hilarious, definitely frustrating, or actually interfere with the intended meaning. With so many good books out there, it makes me want to skip her next offering, unfortunately. That said, I enjoyed Leighton and Luca's story, and especially Papa. He was adorable!
review 2: The underlying story itself was ok (albeit definitely in line with the other two books in terms of the plot formula the author clearly enjoys) but the dialogue felt VERY forced and unnatural at many points and the typos got distracting after awhile.
... moreI remember feeling exactly the same way about the other books in the Reunion series but decided to give this third book, Letters to Luca, a try in hopes that maybe some of her "I love reading and romance so that means I should write books" kinks had been worked out. This does not seem to be the case. :( But, if you can look past all that and are looking for a formulated HEA by an indie author, than give Letters to Luca a go. less
