review 1: This was one of the most entertaining books that I read last year. Fun, funny and laugh out loud entertainment.Nadine writes in a “you are there” style that makes you feel as though you’re her best friend. Even if you’re not, then you definitely want to be along for the ride of her wild adventures through Costa Rica with her sexy husband. You will feel like you’re right there with her because she’s honest, informative and has a delightfully self-deprecating sense of self.Buy this book, read it out loud to your spouse, and I guarantee, they'll be begging to take you on a trip to Costa Rica.
review 2: Great book to read as I look out my snowy windows and think about how my husband has nine years until retirement. I'm not sure if it made me want to hu... morerry up and move to Costa Rica or run away in a panic! I am actually going in March for an " exploration" of Costa Rica and reading this book made me laugh.. and cringe .. and wish that I could be having this adventure...but maybe without a suicide shower! I just bought the sequel for my Kindle and am giving it to my husband to read before our trip. Loved it! less
