Artwork I created for Evelyn Deshane’s story Her Cactus Heart in Lackington’s Magazine.
The story is about two girls secretly falling in love in a post-apocalyptic wasteland dominated by wild cacti and the bones of the dead. There are purple winged insects that may or may not be spying upon a budding young friendship.
