review 1: I was in search of a little more of the grace as I am deeply intrenched in stories of the world of injustice - I know too many heart wrenching stories and was seeking more redemptive ones... 90% of the book is the heartache of injustice and only at the very end do you get the goodness that God brings after the storm of a very long, hard life of pain... If you are looking to see more of the refreshment that comes with the Living Water, this isn't the book I would recommend though it is well written and full of heart... it's just more heart break than beauty from ashes.

It was evident that author had a vision in mind right on the outset of this project, and throughout... more her writing as she kept a laser-focus in connecting humans' hearts to God's heart. She used the tapestry of human lives, suffering and joy to proclaim the reality of Redemption - The Grandest Rescue. I would love to read more of her writing. less
