review 1: i thought cate was too gud to be true. her reason to alienate him did not make sense. his life was not in danger, so what the hell!? u stick wid the one u love and dunt leave him to fend for himself unless extreme circumstances. i do not think they cud still be in love after 10years. they were not the same persons and cate was badly damaged both inside and out. ethan behaved like a thwarted and selfish young man instead of the experienced man of the world he was.
review 2: This book would have been a 3-stars if not for Ethan's declaration of love in the last 20pages. ... moresolve when needed and protected her broken heart fiercely while Ethan was ruthless to protect his broken heart. Was interesting two see two characters motivated by similar feelings but dealing with it in two different ways, but coming together despite their obstacles. Very good second chance at love story. 4-Stars less
