review 1: لم يعجبني الكتاب مقارنة بمذكرات مانديلا رحلتي الطويلة من اجل الحرية حيث استمتعت بكل ملمة وحرف فيهانا هذا الكتاب فالحقيقة انه عمل تجاري بحت فيه بعض ابمقاطع والصفحات الجيدة لكن في ايضا حشوا كثيرا لا داعي له كما ازعجني كثيرا التعريف بالشخصيات المذكورة في اخر الكتاب وبشكل غير مرتب .انصح من سريد ان يقرأ عن مانديلا ان يقرأ كتابه الرائع رحلتي الطويلة من اجل الحرية .
review 2: Started reading this almost almost three years ago. My mum got it for me as a Christmas gift, knowing ... morethat I was a big admirer of Nelson Mandela. I've chipped away at it as one might with a book of poetry, a couple of pages here and there. Coincidentally, I began making a concerted effort to finish it a few weeks before his death. It's hard to review something that is basically a collection of personal writings, especially of such a great figure, so I'm not going to give it any stars. I do find it elegant, insightful, and often inspiring. I will say, though, that it would not be an ideal introduction to the man, if you aren't already familiar with the events of his life. less
