review 1: This is a great book if you have ever wondered why you never started something as powerful as Twitter. But as you turn each page you will soon find that money and greed are both powerful drives that can destroy every friendship that you thought you had. I had a major business once and maybe I am glad we go in and then got out early before the hate could set it?So pick this up and begin diving into the world of high tech mayhem!
review 2: There’s no denying that Twitter has changed the way the worlds communicates som when I saw this audiobook Audible’s buy one get one free sale, I grabbed it. Nick Bolton provides a fascinating and entertaining account of how Twitter went from a tiny start-up run off a single laptop to a large social networking company worth
... morehundreds of millions of dollars. If you’re looking for a description of the technology or engineering behind Twitter, you will not find it in this book. Bolton focuses almost exclusively on the personal dynamics and interpersonal conflicts between Twitter’s five co-founders and how they vied for power. I found it a bit melodramatic at and gossipy at times, but I couldn’t put it down. The characters and the story are just too compelling. less
