Nick Bolton provides a fascinating and entertaining account of how Twitter went from a tiny start-up run off a single laptop to a large social networking company worth ... morehundreds of millions of dollars. If you’re looking for a description of the technology or engineering behind Twitter, you will not find it in this book. Bolton focuses almost exclusively on the personal dynamics and interpersonal conflicts between Twitter’s five co-founders and how they vied for power. I found it a bit melodramatic at and gossipy at times, but I couldn’t put it down. The characters and the story are just too compelling. less
