review 1: A really enjoyable book, a very easy read. All about the struggle for power and recognition. Either Jack Dorsey is a total C**t or he did not tell his side of the story as well as EV. You feel pity for Noah, largely forgotten and missed out on the big pay day. Biz seems the most balanced, EV the one you are rooting for and Jack the villain of the piece. I think we need another writer to tell the same story and see if we get the same outcome. Can somebody else spin it so that Jack Dorsey is anything more than a wannabe Steve Jobs and a vicious, hateful revenge seeking billionaire, can that paint EV as the manipulative villain and Jack as the hero, or is this largely how it was?
review 2: I wasn't a massive fan of the writing style but all the same the story was
... morewell told about something close to my heart. It gave me fresh insight into the cut throat inner workings of a corporation. I feel for the fallen Hero's who's hearts were in the right place. One in particular.I have always had a soft spot for the platform/tool and its played a huge part in my last 7 years. This book made me romantic about the early years and fear a little for its heart and soul in the years to come. less
