review 1: An absolutely fascinating read. The story of the founding and development of Twitter, and how the relationships of the founders changed and suffered during it's early stages of growth. A pretty scathing indictment on human nature,and our need to single out the weak member of the pack or find a lightning rod for our discontent. No one in this book comes off all that well, but they do come off as very human. I have to wonder if the author has a bias, as some previous reviewers have commented, since founder Jack Dorsey really comes off a total megalomaniacal plotter...but then again, billions of dollars were at stake. That would bring out anyone's bad side.
review 2: An outstanding book, that has to be a movie in future.كتاب رائع بمعنى الكلمة...... more يحكي قصة تويتر بكل خباياها المثيرة، ولم أكن أتوقع أن أعيش ثلاثة أيام دون ملل لأحزن في النهاية مع انتهاء الكتاب.أجاب هذا الكتاب على كل الأسئلة التي دارت يوماً في مخيلتي حول هذه الشركة العجيبة التي تقدر قيمتها اليوم بمئة مليار دولار.ما السبب وراء تغيير رئيسها التنفيذي ثلاثة مرات خلال سنتين؟من هو المبتكر الحقيقي لفكرة تويتر والمئة واربعون حرف؟من هم أوائل المستثمرين؟لماذا رُفضت عشرات المحاولات من المشاهير بالمساهمة في الشركة منذ مراحلها الأولى؟كلها أسئلة غامضة يجيب عنها هذا الكتاب. لحظات من الحزن والفرح تمر بعدة خيانات وصمود في حياة هذه الشركة."اسمح لنفسك بأن تخطئ غداً" كان الشعار الأكثر ترديداً في الكتاب.كتاب مليء بالدروس ... وباعترافات صريحة لا تنتهي، قادتني لأراجع الحقيقة خلف الكاتب وأقول لنفسي: (هل من الممكن أن يكون ذلك قد حصل؟ وهل من الممكن أن يتم ذكره في كتاب؟).اجده باختصار ... من أفضل كتب الأعمال التي قراءتها هذا العام (خصوصا فيما يتعلق بالشراكات وتأسيس الشركات).استحق الخمسة نجوم بجدارة less
