review 1: Loved this comic. Nick has just the right amount of cynicism and satire mixed with wry humor and a different way of looking at reality that makes his drawings hit close to home without hurting too much. The comparison between "complicated" human relationships and the simple, straightforward, loyal relationship we have with our pets (in his case, his beloved dog who died just before he published this book) implies it's better to have the latter than the former. I begged to disagree; hence, I just rated his book 4 stars instead of the 5 I so wanted to give it.

I’ve officially put more effort into this review than went into the text of the book. less

I only wish there were a way to anonymously send some of these to friends and relatives.

Hilarious cartoons, many of which have a message for those with relationship issues.

I think he loves his dog in a weird way. Read it and you'll see why I think so.

If you can't laugh at yourself this is not your book. Very funny and true.

Well, I don't love you, and I didn't think this was cute.
