review 1: So im a guy who would rather be watching star wars than reading a love story but I read it anyway. and im giving this one five and well deserved too.Its a love story, attractive guy meets attractive girl and they like one another but don't want to admit it. you might be forgiven for thinking, 'oh ive read this before' but I would say read it anyway and for one very good reason. the main character- Rach- is such a well written character that you will be through this book all the way to the end in no time. there are other characters in the book and then there's the hot guy; for me he was like an accessory to the story. you see Rach is funny, likeable, genuine, a brat, caring, a terrible driver, too stubborn to admit it. and once the story is over you get the feeling you got ... moreto know someone who could be very real, and it makes it sad the story had to end. so this one gets five stars because that is exactly what I want from a great story.
review 2: This story is one of those improbable romances with two characters so wrapped up in their own lives it’s no wonder they can’t find a good relationship. Both Rachel and Craig are obsessed with their careers: Rachel wants to find a new one that is just as fulfilling as her old one and Craig wants to show his father he can take the reins of the family business and make it a bigger success. The two meet thanks to a fender bender and from that point on are thrown together the way good romantic protagonists should be – crazy coincidences. Rachel’s best friend is dating Craig’s brother. Despite the antagonistic tendencies between Rachel and Craig (both delight in annoying the other) the sparks of attraction are there as well and the two are subjected to matchmaking efforts by the friend and brother.Throughout this novel I really wanted to reach in and smack the two of them. Rachel is so determined to leave her career in social work behind because she is scared she is blind to the fact that any life other than social work makes her miserable. And Craig is so afraid of a potential lawsuit due to the stalking tendencies of his ex-girlfriend (who happens to work in his company) he doesn’t deal with her intrusions or tell her the flat out truth: it’s over.I think this book could have been wrapped up a bit sooner. The life issues of Rachel and Craig seemed to be on endless repeat because neither was willing to open their eyes to reality. Specifically, Craig’s reaction to his ex’s “offer” for information that resulted in him in a very compromising position just as Rachel entered the room. If I’d been reading a physical book I might have thrown it in frustration but thankfully it was my Kindle Fire and I’m careful handling that ;)It was a good story that dragged a bit longer than it should. I’ll give it 3 out of 5 stars.I received a copy of this novel for an honest review less
