review 1: *I was given the books free in exchange for an honest review* I did enjoy this book despite most changes in pace being brought around by someone fainting- if it was that easy to do I would do it on a daily basis just to make life more interesting. The main characters Eva and Nathan are both involved in sport; they meet in numerous different ways and find themselves pulled towards each other by an unspoken bond. This is true of many books however with these two I felt as if it was too much of a forced situation- there didn't seem to be any reasoning behind it and I didn't think they shared any interests apart from being sporty and the later development of having difficulties with ex's. Putting this aside their relationship is a rocky one since both of them have been trust is... moresues the majority of this books story is put on hold while the main characters decide if they really are doing the right thing for both involved- who puts that much thought into kissing someone really? The secondary characters I found were actually more lovable that Eva and Nathan. I particularly liked Eva's best friend Chloe who is always very supportive and seems to have a good reasoning ability which both lead characters do not.The pacing of the story very much revolves around someone fainting so that something else can happen, which actually stunts development of characters as there is very little/ nothing to cause it. I almost feel that a book with characters who faint this often should develop into something like a medical condition. The story line is the storyline everybody loves to read, bad boy turned good, trust in men restored happy ever after... It is the story line that never fails to please which allowed me to rate this book a 3.5 stars.
review 2: I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.I very rarely give a book a low rating (I am a people-pleaser and can't seem to find the courage to stomp all over someone's work unless completely outraged-- I'm looking at you, "Beautiful Disaster"), as there's always a strength to be found somewhere-- solid writing, likeable characters, steamy scenes, realistic conversation...but "Struggle" just seemed to miss the mark.As others have pointed out, the cover totally drew me in. I am also a fan of the alternating POV, as getting into the minds of the hero and heroine always gives me a clearer picture of what's going on in everyone's head. Yet even knowing what both characters were thinking, I still was so confused throughout this entire book (including the very bizarre non-cliffhanger, or was it? ending)-- why does Nathan have a ponytail (seriously, why is that even a thing)? why does everyone keep passing out? why do these characters even like each other and when did they possibly have time to fall in love? This book was definitely not for me, and was not at all able to hold my attention :( less

Loved it. I loved that it was about the story not just sex. It held my attention all thru it.

Too many grammar mistakes. Ok story line. Quick read though.
