The Emma of Normandy Trilogy
review 1: There are not a lot of novels about Emma of Normandy. Patricia Bracewell did a good job of weaving facts from the Anglo Saxon Chronicle into the book to make a compelling story. This is apparently the first in a series and unfortunately it falls into the common trap of series books, a dead ending. At the conclusion of this book I was left feeling mildly disappointed, however, I will read the books to follow. All in all, this was a decent, quick read, but not a star.

Interesting. Great characters, but a bit of a downer. I hope the sequel has a happier ending.
