review 1: Good, easy, feel good read pertaining to the OSS. I feel like I have come across this story briefly in another book, perhaps "women of the OSS"? The author researched the players well through mostly interviews and email. Good primary source material, but not noted in any marked footnotes or endnotes, ahah....until you get to the end of the book and there is a notes section that does not quite flow with the book and is bizarre, as I found the appendices from research that he wanted ...moreGood, easy, feel good read pertaining to the OSS. There are some good "* notes" by the author tat the bottom of a few pages to keep the reader informed of important information. Good coffee table history.
review 2: It was a "meh" when it comes to non fiction. I was expecting a lot more excitement, a lot more dangerous "Bourne Identity" type of action. But the group of super secret Jewish spies was formed in like March of 1945. BRRRRRR. Not a lot to be done in the last few months of the war.Anyway, the fact that this is based on true men is the best part. It's really a testament to how people want to serve the right side, even at danger to their own lives. less

This book was very hard to follow but know the story was real which kept me plodding along with it.
