review 1: I really liked this story. It was stimulating, funny, and sexy. I just found it so believable. I thought about some of the current pop divas that would love the chance to just get away and find a hot sexy guy that loved you for you and not the fame and fortune. Zach was just that man. It was very touching to see the bond between Leia and Zach’s family. I imagined Brittany Spears as Leia with all the drama she has gone through over the years and now she is in a peaceful place in her life. I liked that Leia was a strong diva and she knew what she wanted. The ending was great!
review 2: 3.5 stars rounded up to 4. A good romance read about a big female rock star passing through a small town in Colorado who takes a cold medication she's allergic to and gets arr
... moreested by the local sheriff who thinks she's under the influence. Cleared of those charges, the tired, overworked superstar likes the small town (and the sheriff) and buys the house for sale across the street from him to try and find some peace in her life.Things get complicated between her and the sheriff who has a rebellious teenage daughter who at first is thrilled with a rock star living across the street but that turns to jealousy when she finds her father involved with the woman. It takes awhile for the sheriff to get his life in order, for the rock star to realize that she can be loved and can stand up for herself and for the daughter to realize that her father has a right to his own life.A sweet ending and an enjoyable read. less
