review 1: A wonderful collection of travel pieces and excerpts by good writers, including Theroux himself, organized into thematic chapters, such as "The Pleasures of Railways," "Fears, Neuroses and Other Conditions," "Travel Wisdom of Evelyn Waugh," and "Everything is Edible Somewhere."
