Book synopsis (from Goodreads):

She finds a wallet (not a shoe), and he’s a billionaire (not a prince), but this time, Cinderella’s turning the tables. . . .

Julia: Shilling samples at a grocery store isn’t exactly my dream job. Yet here I am, tray in hand and a fake smile plastered on my face. The one highlight is seeing him. I don’t know his name, but if I did, I’d scream it during the naughty dreams he inspires. He’s crazy handsome, all confidence and an air of power. He’s never said a word to me. Never even looked in my direction. Then one day he literally falls at my feet. Now I have his wallet. I know where he lives. And I’ve found the nude photos of him online.

It’s not the bruschetta on her tray he really wants to taste. . . .

Bastian: I’ve dated models, doctors, and CEOs, but something about Julia Rominger has me intrigued . . . and more than a little aroused. Maybe it’s her lush curves driving me wild. Or that she has no problem telling me to go to hell. Either way, she’s seen me at my worst; I want to hit her with my best. I know where to touch, where to kiss, and just how far to push to drive her crazy. Soon, however, pleasuring Julia isn’t enough. I want to possess her. I need to make her mine. And I’ll fight to the bitter end to win her heart.

My review:

Mr. Rich is one of those books that make you sigh while reading it. With characters that you can relate to and a plotline that will make you laugh and cry, Mr. Rich is the perfect book to read if you are laying out by the pool or on the beach. Just make sure that you don’t have nosey people reading over your shoulder because the sex scenes are definitely not PG.

Julia had to be one of my favorite characters in the last 10 books that I have read. She was just a regular 20 something working at a dead-end job, trying to make ends meet and reflecting on her past mistakes. She was snarky and couldn’t keep her mouth shut. I loved her. If she was real, she totally would have been my BFF.  I did think that her past, while sucky, did shape her. It made her cautious about trusting people and she refused to let anyone close. I died laughing when she found the pictures of him on the Internet and got yelled at by the customer.

Bastian is hands down one of my favorite male characters in the last 10 books that I have read. I just wish that he had been a little more open about his battle with lupus with Julia. He definitely lived up to his nickname “Big Sexy” in all ways…wink wink.

The romance between Bastian and Julia was one of the sweetest that I have read. Their feelings for each other was very tangible while reading it. What I didn’t understand is why there had to be a love triangle between Bastian, Julia, and Ryland. It added drama that I thought really wasn’t needed in the book. Julia’s personal drama, in my opinion, was more than enough.

The sex scenes between Bastian and Julia were insanely hot. While I was reading the first scene, I basically had the same thought as Julia when she saw Bastian’s package “Will it fit”….lol. Well, not only did it fit but it definitely fit well. LOL.

The ending was sweet. I think I cried when Bastian tracked Julia down (read the book to find out why). The epilogue really made me cry. Talk about romantic!!

How many stars will I give Mr. Rich: 4
