review 1: Okay this book I would have given 5stars to! But my moral compass just wouldn't allow me (lol)First thanks to the author for the opportunity to read this book.I enjoyed it! From the beginning to the end. Wanted a bit more at the end but we can't always have what we want. The book is about a housewife who's marriage is dull, husband doesn't notice her (I mean really doesn't notice her, what does she have to do other than stand naked in front of him) She does everything for him. He comes home and dinner is waiting, house is clean, everything is just perfect! She does everything to get him to notice her. And then she decides she wants to have an affair! Okay normally I would say no, seriously work on your marriage do something, but this guy just didn't get itSo she meets someon... moree, and boy does she meet someone! Hot/younger guy, who you would think just wants to have a fling with her.But he takes the time to get to know her and actually helps her with her self-esteem (thanks douche-bag husband) and he falls inlove! Normally its the women that goes head over heels first, but....ya...She tries to save her marriage but the husband just disappoints everytime!I mean if he really loved her he would fight for her, wouldn't he! (Or maybe its just my romantic side coming out, lol)Well don't want to give away to much of the story, but all I can say is... Pella Grace told this story like I think would have happened in the real world. I believe this book is for those young housewives who is in a depressing marriage and husband is more consumed with work and doesn't notice you! Not that I am saying go out and have an affair, but sometimes things happen and you can't control where destiny takes you.And if you can find real happiness with someone else then who can stand in your way. Cause if you not happy in your life then what is the point of living!!!Definitely recommending this book! Thanks for the opportunity to review and looking forward to more.:-)
review 2: Taste the rainbow of stars for this rating. I settled on three out of confusion, when really it's more of a 2, maybe 2.5 Chapters, paragraphs and sentences could be 5,4,3,2 or 1.A 4 followed by a 2. A 1 followed by a 5. So confusing.I enjoyed the idea, even the characters most of the time.I'm down with the young artist that is a bit of a free-spirit, silly and so forth but I felt that sometimes it went too juvenile. To the point that, at times, I lost the reason she was so in love and infatuated with Cash. That also made it hard to buy the relationship. The relationship was a departure from what she had and I get that was the point and it was fresh and lively. At the same time, a woman that is 40 IS going to want some sort of grown conversation, the way too silly gets old. It felt like it was ALMOST his whole personality, instead of a part he was capable of capturing allowing her to enjoying that part where she could let down her hair once in a while and just laugh and be. There is a difference and I felt that this didn't strike the balance that was needed. So, in a nutshell, that was why I would give this 2 stars, maybe 2.5 if I'm feeling generous because I really liked the idea and thought is started out REALLY well. I'm just so confused. less
