review 1: It's good. So much of social media is changing so fast that I'm just not sure how it can stay relevant. She has good tips for building social media base and blog commenting, but as a writer, I have serious doubts about the effectiveness of social media for publicity. Social media seems to follow normal media--people talk about what they see on TV, rarely is it the other way around. You want a book to take off on Goodreads, Facebook or Twitter, let Oprah, Fox and Friends, Jon Stewart do a show about it--or anyone with a national show. Suddenly, it's hip to talk about it. There's just too much stuff coming at people on the internet otherwise.
