review 1: "Murder Déjà Vu" begins with a seemingly innocent home improvement project that quickly escalates into a nightmare for an ex-con whose name isn't quite cleared. As the issue of unsolved brutal murders becomes ever more complex, author Polly Iyer takes us into a web of dark secrets, life as a fugitive, and ultimately multi-faceted investigations into evils past and present but a resolution that isn't as simple or easy as first suspected. Lots of twists, turns and surprises, adroitly managed in quality prose, keeps suspense going and pages turning right to the end.
review 2: Finally finished this sucker. I had a ship-load to do while reading this so had to keep putting it down and picking it up but it still maintained its intrigue and suspense each time I picke
... mored it back up. A bit girly and romantic for what I'm used to (hence why I usually stick to less emotionally based crime written by male authors) but this was still well written with an engaging storyline so I gave it a go and it paid off. less
