review 1: After reading one particularly scathing review here, I almost gave up on this book, but I ended up reading the whole thing and liking it more than I thought i would. As a person who is also pretty obsessed with a) celebrities such as Jen Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow and b) trying to improve myself, this book was actually right up my alley. I couldn't really care less about the philosophy behind WHY we obsess over celebrities and about the author's baby fever and infertility issues, and that's why this one gets three stars.

... morely appreciated how down-to-earth and open Rachel was about her fertility struggles. It's difficult to find writing about infertility that is both honest and upbeat. That was an unexpected bonus, and I truly admire Rachel for tackling a difficult topic in an otherwise light-hearted book. less
