review 1: i liked this one. i think we are all programmed by the people and events in our lives, from the moment we come to be ... whether we be 'human' or 'animal' or 'computer' or 'android'. can we ever know the real 'me' when we constantly receive 'input' that reshapes our thinking from day to day? having just recently read 'genesis', and 'do androids dream of electric sheep' and 'undead and unwed', it seems that many writers ponder what sets us apart from beings with artificial? intelligence. (excluding the blonde who dyed her/his hair brown) ... ?
