Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time for us to take a look at some mind-boggling masterpieces. Now, prepare yourselves for the extraordinary works of Larry Carlson!

  • Psychonaut Sunrise by Larry Carlson 2015 Pigment print on metallic paper

This is a cosmically unique work by “Abstract Guru”, Larry Carlson. The piece transcends reality, and transports the viewer into a kaleidoscopic world. Carlson’s brilliant usage of vibrant colors create a totally sublime atmosphere. He once again, “melts” the colors, which distorts the shapes and bends perspectives. The result is a complex, and extraordinary masterpiece that resembles a floral patterned world of purples, reds, and oranges. I personally adore the miniature suns that appear all over the painting. I always wonder how he comes up with such brilliantly diverse “worlds”. I would love to hear what you guys think of this work in the comments’ section below.

  • Electrix Sunshine by Larry Carlson Pigment print on metallic paper

Here we have another jaw-dropping piece by “Computer Guru”, Larry Carlson. It’s an outdoor scene with a blend of realism and surrealism. The rightmost part of the work appears to be a mountain of flowers that have been “Carlsonified” into patterns of visual trickery. The ground is lime green, and resembles needle-like blades of grass. The top of the work displays the “Sunshine” in all of its glory. It’s a perfectly amazing electric blue with a mandala surrounding it. It also is giving off a purplish-blue shine. The purple blends into the background, making it “pop out” to the viewer. Tell me what you think of this work in the comments’ section below.
