Freshly Made Sketches #305

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  This weeks fabulous sketch has been designed by Amy O’Neill – Queen of combining colours and creating scenes.

I really fell in love with this sketch and had heaps of ideas running through my head.  To mix up my cards, I decided to stay away from a floral card (even though I was itching to create one!) and made a card using Lift Me Up for a friend.  The hot air balloons are stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black.  I then cut them with my matching Up and Away Thinlits Dies.  Dies are so easy to use and cut the images in no time!

I used a strip of Lemon Lime Twist DSP behind the balloons.  This DSP is from Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The ink splatters in the background are from Swirly Bird and are stamped in Basic Black Ink.  The sentiment I’ve used is from Lovely Words Thinlits Dies.  The dies in this set are surrounded with an oval frame that also cuts with the sentiment, but I have trimmed it off my sentiment for my card. I then added some Black Bakers Twine, some sequins and some little white clouds to finish off my card.

As always, the Clean Team have designed gorgeous cards to inspire you – so pop over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look at their wonderful cards.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle
