Happily Ever After by Kelly Oram Book Review

Yes, is another book review because, why not?

Well as the title says, I’m reviewing one book that I’d been waiting for, for about two years or so and when I found out there was going to be a book number two for Cinder & Ella I about flipped out so now that it actually came out I flipped out and then some.

I have to say Cinder & Ella is one of the best book retells that I have ever read and I’m so glad I gave this retell a chance because it certainly is amazing!

So without further due here is what Happily Ever After is about:

The end of one story is often the beginning of another. Hollywood heartthrob Brian Oliver and his Cinderella princess Ellamara Rodriguez have finally found love outside the digital world. But leaving their anonymity behind creates a whole new set of obstacles for the nation’s new favorite sweethearts. With the stress of Brian’s fame and the pressures of a new relationship weighing down on them, the It Couple quickly begins to wonder if they can hold on to their newfound joy, or if maybe happily ever after is only a fairy tale.

Happily Ever After gets a 4.5 out of 5 stars on my review book!

Okay you might be thinking why it got 4.5 out of 5 if I was so excited to read this book and I’ve told you multiple times that I love these characters and the story? Well I’ll tell you why, but first the things I loved about this amazing story.

I love the few references to past books, like Kyle and Ellie and Seth, I was completely fascinated to learn a little of what had become of the “lives” of those characters after the books ended.

Also Brian, I mean this book just showcased how amazing Brian Oliver is and how much life sucks because guys like him are practically none existent.

“Not one of those women ever came close to giving me even a fraction of the happiness I get from a single text from Ella.”

Then there was the whole issue with Ella’s dad. I seriously hated that guy and I liked that Ella was not ready to forgive him after all the things he said and did, like the dude was such an A-hole seriously!

I was happy to learn that finally things were working for Ella after all the suffering and missteps she had.

The only thing I did not like about this book and it’s just  because I’m such a sucker for drama is that, there was no romance drama at all. Brian was so perfect, too perfect, like perfect to a fault!

Like the dude was so understanding and loving and caring and I was like “come on dude! Do something wrong!!” But I guess Ella deserved some happiness and that is probably why Mrs. Oram decided to not create any major drama within Brian and Ella’s relationship.

Through out this book was fantastic, so worth the wait and it wraps all of Cinder & Ella’s story so nicely that there is no thought in my mind that they truly had a Happily, Ever, After!
