My ‘A Very Merry ReadAThon’ TBR!

Last year, I was lucky enough to be invited by my good friend Hannah (TinyBookDragon) to partake in hosting a readathon she had created to help us bookworms get into the Christmas mood. Which this year I am once again luckily enough to be hosting again alongside new hosts: Vanessa, Stacy and Cristina! Now I’ve already written a post all about this readathon, with all the information that you might need if you decide to partake as well!

Anyway, since this is a readathon, of course that means for me there must be a TBR pile to show you all for all the books which I am going to attempt to read. Since the ‘Very Merry Readathon’ is a readathon which is extremely laid back and all about getting into the Christmas mood, there are only three challenges to complete which means three books to choose. Or if you want to then you can simply use one single book for all three challenges, which I know some of the hosts are doing too.

Challenge One: A book which takes place during the holidays.

Time Was By Nora Roberts. Now I have quite a few Nora Roberts books which are set during Christmas time, so I possibly may pick up a different one but I adore Nora Roberts writing. Time Was is a novel which by the cover I presume is set during Christmas time and has a twist of magical realism which is a genre I adore.

Challenge Two: A book which has Christmas colours on the cover.

The Christmasaurs By Tom Fletcher. This is a book which has been on my TBR for over a year but I have been waiting to come out in paperback and although I haven’t read one of Tom’s book before, all I’ve heard is good things. Which means I am really looking forward to picking this up during the readathon, also it’s a middle grade which I haven’t read in a while.

Challenge Three: A book that you want to read.

Now I’d like to continue with the Christmas theme so I will either pick up another Nora Roberts Christmas book, or I will be picking up The Polar Bear Explorers Club By Alex Bell. I know Steph from ALittleButALot, really loves this book so I can’t wait to pick it up!

That’s my TBR for the Very Merry Readathon, hopefully I will be able to get through it all! I’m really excited to take part as well as co-host! Plus check out everyone channels which I have linked and also check out our twitter at @merryreadathon.
