Pinkalicious: The Princess of Pink Slumber Party is a cute story about Pinkalicious hosting a sleepover for her friends. The princesses arrive and are having fun until Pinkalicious discovers that one of her guests is nervous about spending the night away from home. To make her feel better, they play games and imagine that a magical dragon is there to protect them. Pinkalicious getting creative to help her guest in distress exemplifies being a good friend. The large font, simple text, and short sentences are great for budding readers. This story is one of many early readers in the beloved Pinkalicious series.
