America, circa 2018: a divided nation with little to no common ground to bridge the gap.
Enter, Teen Vogue.
That’s right, instead of encouraging the next generation of adults to work together for the greater good, or just giving them fashion and makeup tips per their expertise, this modern magazine is smearing on an extra coat of political bias on their pages this season.
In addition to commanding its readers to “resist Donald Trump’s America” (AKA: their fellow American citizens), the sad little teeny-bopper rag is giving their unique brand of insight into special elections in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and South Carolina.
…and by insight, I mean outright campaigning for the Democratic nominee.
In an article claiming to deliver “everything you need to know about the special elections”, in my home state of Wisconsin, for example, the Condé Nast publication chose to only highlight the Democrat on the ballot, but cheerlead his campaign:
Hey, Teen Vogue: if you are going to make a departure from prom dresses and makeup tips into political journalism (and I’m using that word very loosely here), at least cover all the candidates on the ballot. Your thinly-veiled liberal agenda sounds more like a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant with this brand of social justice warrior play-by-play for political hacks who read your antiquated magazine.
The article, aside from being nauseatingly biased, gives readers no point/counterpoint and only serves to further indoctrinate an entire generation of young Americans disenchanted with all things right-leaning.
And parents? If you’re not already, please raise your children to know better than to take political advice from a magazine whose categories include fashion and prom.

As for the Wisconsin special election tomorrow? Please do your own research on the candidates and don’t take anyone else’s word for who you should or should not vote for.
But please, do vote!
