Richie Foreman spent seven years in prison for vehicular manslaughter, the friend he claims was actually behind the wheel, Mark McGregor, not only achieved success as an entrepreneur but married Richie’s former fiancée, Beth Hill.
So when Beth finds Mark’s bloody body on the floor in their garage, she and Richie become suspects to his murder.
A storyteller, David Carnoy plot is twisted and complex character analysis are carried throughout.
Mentioned on the New York Times, I thought I’d give this novel a try. And I’m sorry I did.
Strangely written in the form of dialogue, it was boring and uneventful. Eventually leading me to dreading picking it up.
Not recommended.
