Medium: Hardcover
Synopsis: The boy and the penguin are best friends. They do everything together. But there’s one thing that the penguin wants to do, and it’s something his friend can’t help him with: fly. What’s a penguin to do?
Review: So. Cute. The pictures, the plot, the character development. I absolutely love how Jeffers always makes me feel like a kid again, easily entranced by what’s happening, and hoping that everything will be okay even though I know that it most certainly will be.
Reading as an adult, it pained me when the two separate, though it truly is understandable–sometimes you just gotta do you, and only you. And, as an adult, the ending was so sweet, knowing that friendships can last hardships and time and distance. It gave me a bit of hope.
