review 1: Enjoyed catching up with Anthony and Sebastian again, as they have to do the Queen's bidding and use their manly/womanly wiles to seduce information out of a brother and sister. I liked the humour of Bronwyn and Sebastian garnering the attention of Valois, though his dirty penny keeps on turning up at the wrong moments.I like the historical aspects, having to look up various articles of clothing! Though its a good job Bronwyn stays in the country, the white ceruse face paint had lead in it!Looking forward to book three now.
review 2: I enjoyed this book even more than the first. . I love that Sebastian is confident enough in himself that he doesn't what is any slide what he put his foot in his mouth. and I found it hilarious that Marie found Sebastian more attr... moreactive than Anthony. poor Anthony . a double whammy punch to the ego. then to have 2 people interested in Sebastian I thought the poor guy was going to have a stroke. it was also nice to see just how far Anthony would go to protect Sebastian. I am hoping that she writes a third book especially since she has already set up a plot for it. less
