review 1: I'm guessing this was the second part of Ruby and Brent's life. They r grown now but those old feelings r still there. Over time they separated over thing no one could control. Reading this book was okay but didn't hold my attention like I expected. This story is about past and present. I think I would of like it better if I didn't already know what separates them but I did. Out side that the book is good. I liked how Renee ( the author) did the past and present parts.
review 2: Given by author in exchange for a honest review....Wow!!! Even though this was a shorter story it being a novella, I absolutely loved this version way more!!! I didn't think this story could get more emotional, boy was I a wreck by the end of this story!!I think this is the first time I... more have read where so much time has passed, I loved that!! Five years later after being in high school so much changed, I was surprised.... I loved the way it was written in present tense with the flash backs of the last four years, I think that's what made it emotional....Beautifully written, great story.... DEFINITELY DESERVES ALL FIVE STARS! less
