review 1: Like the series, love the characters. However I was really disappointed with Chapter Three, because the majority of it seems to be a complete cut and paste from the last book. I understand it's a continuing story, but authors generally throw in a little background info to refresh your memory, but write something new. Having just finished Slightly Irregular, I recognized almost that entire chapter was verbatim from the last book. I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea...but it's not! I've never seen anything like that. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice. Really? Cheap and cheesey trick.That being said, and with the exception of the rant above, this was a great installment in the series. I liked the story and can't wait to read the next one. I just hope t... morehere's no more cutting and pasting going on!
review 2: While I was happy to be back in Finley's world and super happy to see her and Liam start heading towards a more defined relationship, I felt a little cheated by this book. It sort of seemed to just stop and not wrap everything up. The main issue I had was the juvie criminal case she was supposed to be working. Didn't really hear much about that? Anyway, I did really enjoy this book and would recommend it as a light fluff read to anyone who likes that type of read every now and then. less
