review 1: I really liked this book. It was writer by a biographer who spent quite a bit of time with him and who got to know him really well, got really close to him. It shows the human side of Mandela and I liked learning things like, he liked to garden. It talks about what he was like in prison, what he learned there, etc. I read it because it was mentioned in a BYU devotional talk. I thought it was well worth the time spent reading it.

This was a chance for the reader to peak behind the curtain and see the beliefs that motivated the man. This book is short and packed full of insightful wisdom every leader can use. I recommend this book as something to read over and over. less
