review 1: Sadie and Amelia are twins, identical in every way except one. Amelia has mental health issues, Dissociative Identity Disorder and switches between three alters. When Sadie is forced back to Slaughter Creek, the home she left carrying a heavy burden, because of her Pawpaw's death, seemingly at Amelia's hands, she realises that all is not what it seems. As she starts to dig for answers, they seem to raise more questions. Did Amelia really kill their grandfather? Or is that voice Sadie heard someone else? Rita Herron has written a twisting tale of mental illness, strange happenings and no one can be trusted. An excellent book and once I recommend!
review 2: I got this book because I liked the cover..... The comments on it were very mixed some people loved it and
... moresome didn't like it at all, this was the first book I've read by this author and I felt that it started off very slow but it did get better then it got a little confusing but at the end of the day I really liked the characters and I enjoyed reading this book the ending was a little predictable but maybe thats just me so I decided to give this book 3 stars. less
