review 1: Detailed look at where Americans are with religion. Younger Americans are more liberal than their elders on every salient issue with the exception of abortion. Religious tolerance a high value with Americans because of the high degree of religious mixing in our social networks. The authors combined quantitative with qualitative studies of specific congregations for a great synopsis of our times. I only wish they had interviewed some "nones", the nonreligious.
review 2: I only read half of it because I had to return it to the library and moved on. What I did read was very interesting.
