review 1: Funny, light, and very easy to read. I liked the fact that the relationship developed slowly and that it was centered around a character with anxiety issues without ever making those issues too serious a part of the story or too defining of Blake as a person. Her anxiety problems were remarkably easily overcome once the story got rolling, but it's a romance novel with a happily ever after ending, and it was nice to see everything work out well for her.
review 2: The idea of a horror author being so scared of EVERYTHING is such a unique story idea and of course Robin Alexander takes that to the extreme of comedy! Alexander does an excellent job of making Blake Taylor and Quinn Scott extreme opposites so much so that the chemistry between them is a perfect blend
... more of annoyance and true attraction. I have really enjoyed how well Alexander brings a humorous twist to any story line and I would highly recommend Scaredy Cat as another wonderful example of her talented writing ability. less

Lighthearted, humorous piece which I liked better than the author's other works.
