review 1: Robin have 3 daughters within 4 years. This book explain how hard motherhood is. I like the part when her daughter asking, yelling or have opinion on something. It's really funny or punny according to a 3 years old lil girl.Emma yelled at her father when her baby sister wake up. But Mommy is not finish reading her bed time stories yet. So she asking her father to give the baby a bootle.“DADDY! GIVE HUR SOME MILKS IN HUR BOTTLE! AND PUT HUR IN DA BED, HUR IS SWEEPY! 'KAY?” The three-year-old yelling at her Daddy how to take care of her baby sister. Emma glared at us, “’Top lappin’ guys. It not punny!” “DADDY, DON’T PORGET HUR SASSY AND HUR BWANKY! 'KAY?” She turned to me, her mission now accomplished and said, “You can pinish weading now, Momm... morea.”
review 2: Positives: a mostly amusing, light-hearted, easy read. Being a mother, I can definitely relate to some of the anecdotes, especially the parts about public restrooms and poop in the hand. Author was able to laugh at herself and take things in stride.Negatives: not as humorous or witty as I thought it would be. Some sections were a bit boring and heavy on religion. I realize I'm more into snarky, sarcastic, witty humor (e.g. Jenny Lawson, Karen Alpert).2.75 stars less
