review 1: You can never go wrong when you read a book by Robin Schone! This book was no exception. Set in a time when a woman could not show interest in sex, Abigail (who is 29) escapes away to read her erotic and to deal with the fact that she will soon be 30 and a spinster. Robert who has demons of his own gets caught in a store and finds shelter in Abigail's one room cottage. While trapped in the store, Abigail explores her curiosity while Robert finds peace within Abigail. Sweet yet hot as hell. The contrast is amazing and I loved it. If you get a chance read her angel novels. Gabriels woman and The Lover. These two men will melt every part of you. They are my favorite characters so far.
review 2: From writerspace to Robins webpage I stumbled across a teaser
... more for this book and I wanted to read it. I even went that far to create an amazom account as I was willing to pay for it. When it was released, Robin celebrated with a give-away and here I was a lucky one to get it right at the beginning. It is downloaded (as pdf as I don't have an e-reader, yet) and I should probably safe it to different devices just in case. I read it in one session. It delivers. The idea is great, the characters are believable and the story flows nicely/most of the time steamingly along. I really loved the way Abigail and Richard interact and after I finished it I wanted to know more about those two. I would like to read more about them. less
