review 1: I do apologize for the editing issues with "Running from Fate." I did edit and proof and have others do so as well, but I think only looking at it on the computer and, with the length of time I spent on it, I just missed some things. Truthfully, as I spent time as a professional editor I was annoyed with myself for leaving errors. I recently published a print copy through CreateSpace and noticed errors in spelling and grammar when reading the paperback proof. I have since corrected and uploaded said correct copy to Amazon. I've also requested that customers be informed of the updated version, but as of yet the Amazon people have not gotten back to me.I was able to offer a free promotion through KDP Select and I'm glad so many people downloaded my book. I do plan on doing a... morenother free promotion, but as of yet I'm not sure when it will be.As an FYI there will be two more books in the series though I'm not sure yet when I will write them as another story spoke to me and is currently being written.Thanks for the feedback.Rose Connelly
review 2: 3.5 Stars! The editing for this book left a little to be desired. There were a lot of grammatical/spelling errors and little things like that that just grated on me. But they fortunately didn't detract from the story. I enjoyed it and found myself giggling at conversations and drawn deeply into the "yummy bits". The chemistry between Mira and James was spot on, and I even enjoyed the mystery aspect that was brought in. However, it was very predictable and ended far too abruptly. This book would have definitely benefited from and epilogue...something more to hold on to. less
