review 1: Paul was such a weak character. It wasn't that he was whinny or anything he just really wasn't capable of much. The redeeming features of this one were Asher and Zakai the two main sub-characters. I'm hoping there's a story about them at some point. On a side note this was a story about an incubus. Incubus to me means there will be lots of sex. There was lots of sex, but non of it was on page.
review 2: I'm giving this book 4.5 stars because the characters alone will have me reading this again. The cover did give me the impression that it might be darker than it is, but this was a really fun read. The characters are alive and fresh, and Kain is just too sweet for his own good. I fell immediately in love with him. Paul is a bit stifled but with good reason and
... more likable all the same.I really enjoyed this book. Highly recommended. less
